As a capstone project, my group was tasked with researching, ideating and creating a campaign for The Salvation Army, with the goal of driving awareness to Gen Z and young professionals. For the plans book, I served as a Strategy Director, working primarily on the Planning section of the book, where potential strategies are pitched.

Campaign proposal for The Willard InterContinental, Washington, D.C.

As an internship project through The Brandman Agency, I was tasked with researching and creating an activation for The Willard, InterContinental, highlighting the recently renovated Peacock Alley. The presentation included pitch drafts, a media list, media matrix, time and action plan, and more. After completing the presentation, the proposal was presented to senior level staff at the agency.

Below is a presentation for the Glossier Data Story. In this data story, I analyzed Glossier’s Instagram posts, seeing which post types and what post content appealed to their audience. Excel was used for dataset creation, along with Pivot Tables to generate insights. The presentation was made with Google Slides and mimics Glossier’s brand aesthetic. ROCKETBOOK ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH ‘#TEAMTREES’ TO GIVE CUSTOMERS TREE SEEDS WITH QUALIFYING ROCKETBOOK PURCHASES

SHELTON, Conn. (Oct. 14, 2022) – Sustainable notebook brand Rocketbook has announced a partnership with ‘#TeamTrees,’ a collaborative fundraising group that aims to plant 20 million trees globally by December 2022, to give customers packs of tree seeds with qualifying purchases made on Rocketbook.com. All purchases made between Oct. 14-24 will come with a pack of tree seeds for consumers to plant, allowing #TeamTrees to physically spread its message to consumers, and help cement Rocketbook as a sustainable option for the stationery industry.

“We’re incredibly excited to partner with Team Trees and give consumers the power to make our world greener and healthier,” said Joe Lemay, Chief Executive Officer of Rocketbook. “At Rocketbook, sustainability has always been at the forefront of our business, and this partnership is a natural progression in our mission,” said Lemay.

“We started Team Trees as a challenge,” said Mark Rober, a founder of Team Trees. “We want to do good for our planet, which is why we started this. Working with RocketBook is such a fantastic opportunity for us to share our passion. Plus, we use RocketBooks in our offices, and we love the brand’s sustainability efforts,” Rober said.

All purchases made between Oct. 14-24 will come with a pack of tree seeds for customers to plant. Purchases must be made on Rocketbook.com. Customers will receive one of three seed types (pin oak, crabapple or red maple) with a pamphlet on instructions for how to plant and grow your tree.

About #TeamTrees

#TeamTrees came to life when the online community challenged 21-year-old YouTuber Jimmy Donaldson – aka MrBeast – to plant 20 million trees to commemorate hitting 20 million YouTube subscribers. Joining forces with other online influencers, including fellow YouTuber and former NASA scientist Mark Rober, Donaldson drove the YouTube community’s campaign to raise $20 million to plant 20 million trees around the globe. The campaign reached its $20 million goal on December 19, just 56 days after its launch on October 25. To date, the campaign has collected more than 500,000 donations totaling more than $21.5 million. While #TeamTrees garnered large contributions from tech industry leaders – including Elon Musk, Marc Benioff, Susan Wojcicki and Tobi Lütke – smaller donations from hundreds of thousands of donors pushed the campaign to the finish line. The most common donation amount was just $5.

Below is a mock news release, written for RocketBook, for a Message Development class. We were tasked with creating a potential PR tactic for Rocketbook, and then creating a news release that would be distributed to the media. In this assignment, we showed knowledge of AP style guidelines and inverted pyramid style, creating a succinct and effective news release.
